As you may know by now, I am a bit of a Gypsy and travel around finding adventures all over the show. Some of the places I end up are beautiful, others downright ugly. But, if all else fails I can usually find a pretty flower to cheer me up.

Apart from taking photographs of where ever I am, I also keep notes in my head and later write short stories about the interesting things I saw. Some are pretty and some a very, very ugly.

The first story is: The Chronicles of the Mexican Horse Thief I – Angola. I can assure you that Angola in the early 1990’s, was NOT a pretty place.

In the bush or in the city one always has a sunset that is worth capturing.
These were taken in Mapumalanga, the hill is called Rynoster Kop.

I stayed in this place for a few months, and just about every evening there was a spectacular sunset. These two are not very good photographs, as my camera broke and I was using a tiny little point and shoot. But you get the idea .
